Has anyone else come across the case where the View Log module returns no logs and states that “there are no log files in the repository”?

This seems pretty straight forward but the Admin Guide simply shows you how to Get Logs and View Logs. When I select to Get Logs there appears to be a pause after selecting the log type and clicking OK. Not sure where to verify in the repository if the file gets created. However since View Log does not list any logs one would assume they are not getting created. Is there something settings wyse (see what I did there) that needs to be configured to create these type of logs?

What clients do you want to get the logs from?

I am working with a 5010 model. I have a hunch that this may be either certificate related or possibly the fact that our model is two system versions behind. Waiting for paperwork from Dell in order to register our device so that we can get the latest version download.

Which OS are you running on the 5010? ThinOS? Getting logs is currently not supported for ThinOS. This will become available with 8.1 release in 2-3 weeks.
