Hello! We are new to the thin client world and have purchased a few of them for training/testing purposes. We bought them with the VESA mounting bracket along with the Planar PL1700M LCD screens. It’s functional but I’m not real happy with the Planar LCDs. They have great image quality and a warranty that can’t be beat but with the additional weight of the V10L’s on the back of the monitors, it’s a bit flimsy.

Also, like a dolt, I failed to notice that the PL1700M LCD’s came with a VGA port and no DVI option. Granted, the V10L comes with an adapter, I’d prefer a DVI interface.

I’m wondering if anyone out there has had a good experience with VESA mounting a Winterm unit on an LCD screen. Ideally looking for 17-19″ displays. Any recommendations? Thanks!

    Hi,

I have used Acer, Phillips and others but you need to be very specific about having the 4 vESA holes free to take the bracket. If possible test one first before you buy a load.

For some reason Dell monitors always use the VESA holes for their standard desk stand so they are no good,

    Cheers,

    19-Inch
    Viewsonic vx900
    Samsung Synchmaster 912N
    Westinghouse LCM-17V2SL
    Acer AL1914
    Philips (model ?)

    17-inch
    Samsung Synch Master 730B
    NEC Accusync LCD71v
    Flexscan L551
    Planar PE1700, PE171
    Acer AL1717
    Philips (model ?)

    HP L1702 17′ (older)

Great resource to check a particular model; http://internalapps.ergotron.com/mirwebtool/default.aspx
