I have been through every revision of software (that I can find) for the v10L trying to find one that will work with little success. We are running a Xenapp 5 environment. I contacted Wyse several months ago and they were unable to provide a solution. I was wondering if any other users may have run in to this problem and found a solution. Or if possibly, anyone has any ideas or “gotcha’s” to look for?

As stated in the subject, we are publishing apps to the WTOS desktop. The problem we have is that we cannot find a firmware that will allow us to both:

a.) change our password if it’s expired
    *and*
b.) timeout immediately upon entering the wrong credentials (currently, it times out after 2 mins, 15 secs).

Here is a chart showing the relevant columns in my testing:
    revision imm t/o ch pass
    6.4.0_12 NO YES
    6.4.0_06 NO NO
    6.3.0_35 NO YES
    6.3.0_27.01 NO YES
    6.3.0_25D NO YES
    6.3.0_22 NO YES
    6.3.0_12 NO YES
    6.2.0_36 YES NO
    6.2.0_27 NO YES
    6.2.0_16 NO YES
    6.2.0_08 NO YES
    6.1.0_27 NO YES
    6.1.0_22 NO YES

We are using 6.2.0_36 because a typo while entering credentials is much more common than an account expiry. I would like to get them both functional, however. I had thought perhaps it was something on the Xenapp (pnagent) server but the fact that 6.2.0_36 works leads me to believe that might not be the case.

Anyone else out there had any experience with this?

Do you have a call open for that at Wyse?

    I think so…

As far as I know the original call that I placed 4 months ago was never closed. I recieved an email from the tech just a couple days ago but he didn’t address the problem so I replied and I haven’t heard back from him since.

Wednesday I called support and sat on hold for a little over an hour before giving up and submitting my requests online. Again, I haven’t heard from anyone regarding that issue (RMA) either.

Which is why I came here…
