Was trying to setup audio from a v10l with v6.3.0_24. We currently are using windows server 2008 terminal services.
After talking with a rep from wyse they said rdp6.1 doesn’t support audio recording only playback.
Reading through the forums here I found a post with someone getting win2003 server to work with skype and bidirectional audio.
I read server 2008 r2 supports bidirectional audio with rdp 7. Does v10l support this?
We want to have audio/video conferencing which was an after thought after setting up about 50 of these units 🙂 Are we going to be able to get this going with just audio or can we get video too? Or should we start looking for a stand alone unit for this type of conferencing….
Wyse is offering the TCX Suite for this purpose. Included in this Suite is TCX Rich Sound which gives you Bi-directional sound inside a RDP connection.
Using this VOIP works perfectly fine for me. Along with video it starts to get choppy. So, Audio alone is great. With video, no go.
