    Hello,

At our client’s office the regular machines (and all servers) and have access to the internet, but the wyse terminals do not, instead they use citrix program neighbourhood to open a browser.

What we’d like to do is set up in internal NTP server, as Neutron cannot speak to the regular external ones.

We have tried various 3rd party tools but can’t seem to get it to work, Neutron won’t recognize any servers as time servers, nor will other programs.

    The terminals are V90L.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

    Check out “Absolut Time Server”.

Hi sorry for the delayed response, have been abroad.

Unfortunately our client is unwilling to pay for any software, so really we’re aiming for a free solution. Thanks for your response though.

    We had this same issue.

Ended up ditching Neutron and the NTP thing all together.
I made some alterations to allow w32time to be able to set to the correct date/time when the current date/time is way out – then I copied w32tm from another PC onto the terminal and then used the command ‘w32tm /resync /nowait’ in HKLM/bla/bla/Run to kick it off at logon.

    Job done.

BTW, the steps Aaron described above could also be found in my FAQ section.

I found that if the terminal was booting for the first time, the w32tm command was not reliable. I tweaked it to add a 10 second delay before executing the command. I can only assume it was because the network wasnt ready or something….
