Hi.
I am in a process updating our 5010 and 3040 clients to 8.6_19
After the update, some of the 5010 clients has a characters predefined in the Username field, that the users has to delete before logging on.
Hos anyone else seen this?

Have you tried to add
Username=””
to your wnos.ini?CG

Just tried and rebooted one of the affected clients. That is the same

not sure where you are adding it,
you need to add it under General 3
DefaultUser=
Make sure there are no characters after the = sign

Hmm yes that solved it!
Thanks a lot.
Only problem now is that I have to remember to add this line manually when using Configuration Generator

Just for I have enhanced ConfGen to support empty DefaultUser names. 😉
