Does anyone know which settings passes on a video device as HDX optimized? I can force redirect with device ID but quality is bad. Same issue without force redirect but with USB Redirection Exclude Video Devices turned off.
Do not use USB redirection. Otherwise HDX optimization will not work.
What app do you want the cam to use?

With USB redirection fully off or the Video redirection disabled cameras do not pass into the session. Are you only referring to options for Local / Redirect?
This is for proprietary microscope software. It worked better in 8.6. Also in 8.6 there was an option to set resolution in thin os config. That seems to be gone now.
Are you sure that the device is locally recognized as a camera?
Could you post a screenshot of the ThinOS Eventlog after plugging in the microscope?

Yep, its listed along with integrated camera in peripherals.

So going back to USB redirection. What settings need to be set? Does the Enable USB Redirection need to be off completely? I tried this and not only the microscope but integrated camera stops passing through.
Perhaps there is another setting somewhere? I have not dealt with WMS before so possible I missed something.
Is this microscope working in the ThinOS camera preview?
CG
Yes it shows up there. It also kind of works in the session but with 9.1 the image quality is bad.
