August 4, 2021 at 8:43 am #105914Are you using RDS/WVD? We had this issue in RDS/WVD, but not in Citrix. When we contacted Dell about it we got the answer that smart card redirection is not supported by the RDS/WVD-package. If we wanted support we needed to submit a feature request. 😛
August 4, 2021 at 9:11 am #105915Dpy Did you solved this? I’m seeing the exact same issues with the same omnikey HID device. We are useing VMware Horizon.
Latest Thin OS and latest Vmware Horizon package for Thin OS. (just released)
8.6 all fine.
9.1 device reconized by thin OS but not forwared to the vmware sessie. We have a call open at DELL but thats being picked up very slowly.
August 4, 2021 at 9:57 am #105916no, my problem is not solved, even with version 9.1.3112
For the moment, I’m still on 8.6 which works well with Citrix 1912November 3, 2022 at 1:37 pm #107947I am seeing same behavior. Have completely working setup on 8.6. Redirects a usb smart card token into Citrix VDI machine just fine and works. I connect via ThinOS 9.1 to the exact same Citrix VDI machien and it doesnt work. Device shows but Windows device manager says it cant start.
