upgrade wyse c10le from thinos 7.1.x to 8.x permenent

    Hi, I am trying to update a bulk of c10le to 8.x so that i can control them from WMS 2.0. It works just fine to load the os from a FTP server on my laptop, but when i shutdown the ftp server they just return to 7.1.x when i power them off and move them to the place they need to be used. I just cant figure out how to make it store the os on the thinclient it self

    Which firmware are you running?
    Which firmware are you upgrading to?
    Have you read the Sticky Note in this forum about updating?

    im trying to upgrade from 7.1_122

    to update 8.3_109

    yes i have but cant figure out why it wont keep the update

    So you are doing it in steps?
    7->8.0_512->8.3?

    yes i was trying with that but but found out that it wont take then 8.0_512 if the file name i c10_wnos_2

    Of course. Remove the _2 at the end
