Hello everyone,
I am trying to upgrade this thinclient but sadly it doesnt work.
The upgrade methode i use is FTP.
I have set it up like its posted here in First setup and i looked at more setups but it doesnt work.Can someone help me with this?
What i use:
A VM with DHCP,DNS,FTP(build in iis).
The wyse thin client sees my dhcp server as it gets an IP address.I am looking for to someone that can help me with this.

August 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm #52843the problem is that the thinclient keeps getting stuck at contacting the file server

August 20, 2020 at 3:10 pm #52850I tried to post it 2 times but for some odd reason it didnt allow me. so here is a summary
This is my wnos.ini
autoload=1
Fileserver=http://10.2.19.1
AdminMode=yes Admin-Username=ConfGen Admin-Password=ConfGenPrivilege=None
Language=us_int
TimeZone=’GMT + 01:00′ ManualOverride=yes
SignOn=No
August 20, 2020 at 3:11 pm #52851Dhcp:
003 Router –> 10.2.19.1
006 DNS Servers –>10.2.19.1
015 DNS Domain Name –> testdomain.co.uk
161 Winterm FTP Server –> 10.2.19.1
162 Winterm FTP Directory –> WintermFTP files:
-Fileserver entry on thinclient –> Default settings exept ftp. ftp i put in was 10.2.19.1/Wyse
August 20, 2020 at 3:48 pm #52852You fileserver entry should look like
http://10.2.19.1/winterm/wyse
Therefore, change OT 161 to “http://10.2.19.1” and 162 to “winterm/wyse”CG
August 20, 2020 at 3:56 pm #52853161 is an IP address . i cant change it to a website. do i need to change my 161 from ip address to a string orso?
August 20, 2020 at 4:17 pm #52856Yes, or switch to DNS tags instead
