    Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade a tc from 8.6 to 9.1 while keeping the auto login settings?

We plan to update the TC’s remotely. We have quite a few.

Does the tc keep it’s settings when updating from 9.1 to newer version of 9.1?

    regards

Yes in the tests that I’ve done they do. I’ve not moved over to 9.x yet in my organization because every time I test I find something not working correctly. I was hopeful for 9.1.5 but I found the DHCP was broken and was even broken in 9.1.4.

Do you mean they keep the settings from updating from 8.6 to 9.1 or from 9.1 to newer version of 9.1?

I just tested from 8.6 to 9.1, but the autologin settings for Citrix are gone.

I’m sorry I was reading fast and was thinking you meant will it automatically autologin with 9.1. You need to set up the config first before upgrading. Select the group you want to upgrade and then edit the policy ThinOS 9.x.

yes, i have setup the autologin config on the TC.

My testing is that it clears the autologin settings when upgrading from 8.6 to 9.1.

But it keeps the settings when upgrading from 9.1.3129 to 9.1.5067.

I guess there is no way to retain the settings from 8.6 to 9.1.

No the settings get erased in all of my testing and usage because of the software upgrade. Sorry I didn’t understand.
