upgrade 3040 8.4 to 8.5 and now devices are prompted to pick their audio device

I am testing upgrading from 8.4 to 8.5; and my test 3040 wyse prompts be at the login screen to pick a headset, headphone or speaker, with a check box to ‘not show again’. (funny enough our 5040 AIO did not give me this prompt – maybe because the speakers are built in)

From what I can tell using the admin login, is if I go to Peripherals and Audio, I can see a new option ‘enable headset popup’.  if I uncheck this box manually then the prompt goes away.  I don’t want our end users to see this – everyone with a 3040 is using dell usb speakers.

I have searched these forums for ‘headset’ and am not getting anywhere fast finding the setting to add to our INI to uncheck this box.  I also do not see anything obvious on the dell site when I look at INI changes in 8.5.

Can anyone steer me in the correct direction?
