The WMS Admin Guide suggests their should be an “Unmanaged Device Auto Assignment” option under Rules.
Does anyone have access to this option, is it only cloud installations or does it work on-prem as well? Do you need the Pro version? The admin guide is not very descriptive about what can be done with this feature, but I’m hoping I can assign a group token to a specific IP address or Terminal Name.
I received a trial Pro license from Dell and I can confirm that the option does exist when you have a Pro license. It doesn’t appear that I can assign devices by IP Address like I hoped, but you can use subnets and I’m going to see if I can abuse that.
