Hello,
I’m currently trying to install the horizon.i386.pkg package to our Wyse 5070 Pentium thin client running 8.5_108. I’ve placed the .pkg file in C:\inetpub\ftproot\wnos\pkg and even in C:\inetpub\ftproot\wnos\ but the package never installs. See below for my wnos.ini which I see loads and even has the line for the package.
The only packages the show are the base and pcoip packages. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I was able to get it to work using the below in my config.
autoload=2 LoadPkg=2 AddPkg=”horizon”
My next issue is I have older 5060 thin clients that need their ThinOS version updated. I’ve downloaded the T10D_wnos_2 (8.6) image from here, but what’s the easiest way to update the firmware? I have wyse usb imaging tool installed, but the T10D_wnos_2 is just a file not an rpm or xml.
January 25, 2019 at 10:06 pm #48943All firmware files on this website are only for WMS or fileserver updates, if not labeled otherwise.
Second, T10D_wnos is obviously for T10D aka 3020.
You will need D10Q_wnos.CG
January 26, 2019 at 12:00 am #48944Thank you CG for the clarification. What’s the easiest way to fo it through a fileserver update? I assume there’s a ini config parameter for this. I’ll do some research, but in case I don’t find an answer I figured I’d ask. I’m also reading through the admin guide from here now.

March 10, 2021 at 3:15 pm #91895Hello, I am working on a 5070 device, it has been upgraded to 9.1x and the WMS is 3.1 with the HF installed as well.
I have installed the Horizon Package ThinOS 9.1.1131 VMware Horizon package v2006.8.0.0.16522670_42 for Dell Wyse 3040, 5070, 5470 and 5470 All-in-One Thin Clients as suggested to me.
I can see in the WMS the package and seems to have been pushed, when I check the device I can see the package as well in Systems Tools Packages.
But when I try and log on I get “error package not installed”.
I have rebooted the client 5070. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.
