Hi all,
Has anyone successfully got UDP audio working on a 3040 running 9.0.3030. If I have a 3040 on 8.4_105, UDP audio via NS Gateway works as expected. If I then upgrade that 3040, UDP stops working.
Same NSG, same VM and same StoreFront address. No change except for 3040 FW version upgrade.

I’ve downloaded the device logs and can see that the ICA has the following as expected;
EnableUDPAudio=True
EnableUDPThroughGateway=true
RtpAudioHighestPort=16509
RtpAudioLowestPort=16500And there are lines referencing the TC config;

Just tried 9.0.2108 and package 2006.1130. Still not working.
Has anyone successfully test UDP audio on ThinOS 9.x?
I’m guessing the lack of responses probably means that no one has got UDP audio working on this model and FW.
Looks like I’m sticking to v8.x for now.No worries. I’ve also tried on 9.0.4024 and it still is not working.
UPDATE:
I’m running the 3040 on 9.1.2101 and Citrix 21.4.0.11.1, but still cannot get UDP audio to work.
I still see the inactive status in Director, but the same terminal on the same VD etc, but on a v8 firmware seems to work – only change is the upgrade to v9.x.Has anyone successfully run UDPA on v9?
What version of Citrix VDA are you running on the VM?
We’ve had UDP audio working over EDT but the experience was poor so we disabled that Citrix policy. You can check this documentation here:

Keep in mind the Citrix receiver on ThinOS 8 is a Dell modified version of Citrix receiver from around 8 years ago or so. ThinOS 9 is now using a full Citrix Workspace App for Linux and will be subject to Linux’s limitations.
What is it you’re trying to get UDP audio working with?
We’re running 1912cu2.
When you had UDPA running was it via an NSG? Our endpoints are external – https://www.citrix.com/content/dam/citrix/en_us/documents/data-sheet/citrix-workspace-app-feature-matrix.pdf
EDT works as expected, it’s just UDPA has never worked on v9.x.I’m aware that the feature matrix states its not available, but asking the wider community for their experiences.
I guess it’s still a waiting game for Citrix to productionise the feature.
