We have setup citrix to get the timezone from the device location.
From what I can tell this is happening due to an incorrect timezone format from linux to windows. See link below.
Has anyone run into this and if yes what was your work around. I am working with support but it has been difficult to communicate with them.
Obviously this is an issue since Outlook is showing calendar items correctly.

I have seen this as well on almost any system I have installed PCX. The local computer time is coming up with all sorts of odd dates, going back to 2011, one workstation going to 2016.

PCX (or a combination of PCX, Dell BIOS and Citrix) is somehow manipulating the local system time. Sometimes I install PCX and the next boot will have a Time configuration incorrect press F1 to continue, press F2 for setup. I have also tried locking down the BIOS security to no avail.

I have tried the US/Eastern time zone in the wlx.ini file, but that did not solve it. So far, I have just told users to press F1 to continue, if they even see it, realize that the time in PCX is incorrect, typically off by a few hours, but within Citrix the correct time is displayed.

    UPDATE:

Without any timezone entry in the wlx.ini, the time in PCX is wrong, off by four hours in the past. When Citrix is launched into Win 7, time is correct.

WITH the TimeZone=”US/Eastern” ManualOverride=true in the wlx.ini, time in PCX is wrong, off by four hours in the past. When Citrix is launched into Win 7, time is off four hours into the future.
