Hi,
I’m having a strange problem with USB redirection on Wyse 3040 thin clients and ThinOS 8.6.606 with BIOS version 1.2.5 managed by on-prem WMS version 3.0
“Enable USB Redirection” is activated with “Redirect all USB devices”.
The problem: If we want to connect a USB port to the thin client, we always need one more than expected, as the first USB stick is not forwarded to the RDP session.
I hope someone can help me.
With regards Colinax

Hi,
Please excuse the delayed answer.
Yes, the first USB stick is recognized by ThinOS.
In the meantime, we’ve found a solution that fixed this strange behavior.
We disabled Enable USB redirection and enabled the Map Disks setting. Now it works as expected.
