Hello all,
I don’t get warm with the new Thin Os 9: it’s too slow and Beta like.
Thin Os 8.6 is very fast and runs stably.
The new requirements are now about the Covid-19 Pandemic = JVDI Softphone and Cisco Webexmeeting / Camera for the Users with Wyse 3040 PCOIP Vmware @ Home Office.
My question is: Dell says JVDI and Webex works only fine with blast Protocol and the new Thin Os 9. I see now a new version of Thin Os 8.6_807 and a JVDI Package has been published with no release notes?
Is any1 here how have experience to run JVDI and Webex on 3040 with 8.6 ?

ThinOS 8.6_807 JVDI package for Dell Wyse thin clients with ThinOS and Dell Wyse thin clients with PCoIP.
JVDI like all other UC solutions need local processing power. Therefore, a 5070 is recommend.

5070 with JVDI and ThinOS 8 or 9 works.
But, I think it (ThinOS 8) was only for Citrix backend.CG
It was promised by Dell if we go to Thin OS 9 there will be a package available for Webex Meeting and Cisco Jabber JVDI Softphone also for VMware Horizont by July.
Now the Dell Service Desk says to me there is no Package für Vmware available and it is not planned only for Citrix Workspace available . Who has more information?
