    Using WMS 2.1

Trying to add the package from https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=xgjgj&oscode=thn8p&productcode=wyse-3040-thin-client

Keep getting the message File horizon.i386.pkg with version V5.01 already exists.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    I have horizon.i386.pkg-V5.01 that I uploaded on 6/11.

Trying to upload Version: 5.1.19052918, 8.6_412 released on 7/2 per the linked webpage.

And you are already running 8.6_412, aren’t you?

I tried to post some pictures, but I don’t know why they keep disappearing.

I already have ThinOS 8.6_412 English Raw Image uploaded. I’m trying to upload the latest horizon package which should be 5.1?

ThinOS 8.6_412 Horizon package for Dell Wyse thin clients with ThinOS and Dell Wyse thin clients with PCoIP
    Version: 5.1.19052918, 8.6_412

Should I be removing horizon.i386.pkg-V5.01 | Package | V5.01 from the repository and adding the latest horizon package?

You can leave it in repo.
Just remove it from the selection in the policy, of course.

Right, but When I try to add the new one to the repo, it keeps saying  horizon.i386.pkg with version V5.01 already exists.

    Thanks

Are you sure the new package is 5.1?
    Can you re-download it?

I downloaded it a few times with the same result.

Is there a reason why I can’t insert pictures to a post? That would make it easier to explain my problem.

Sorry if this is an older issue, but I am experiencing the exact problem.

Trying to upload horizon package (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=xgjgj&oscode=thn80&productcode=wyse-5070-thin-client)

The existing package is horizon.i386.pkg-V5.01 from 2019.

I try to add a package from July 2020.

Message:  “File horizon.i386.pkg with version V5.01 already exists.”

SOLUTION:  even though the update packages are different versions, WMS will not let you upload the new package until you rename the package file itself and then upload.

Even though that works, the version that I uploaded in June and the version I downloaded and uploaded today (which supposedly was released Sep 29, 2020) show the same version number – V5.01. Stupid Dell.

I guess this is why-  https://technicalhelp.de/topic/horizon-clinet-for-thinos-still-on-5-1/

Kind of sad that this version is over a year old. Feel duped buying these 3040 clients for use with Horizon.
