There appears to be an issue with 8.6_04 from the 8.6_019. I have recently upgraded a number of terminals from _019 to _024, it appears something has broken smartcart redirection (or changed it). We use Gemalto eSigner for Barclays.net, using a number of certified card readers (Gemalto CT-10 through to the Dell Intergrated Smart Card keyboards).
When running _019, everything works perfectly via our Citrix (2012 R2 ESR). The readers, card and everything are detected, the Gemalto esigner add-in activates when using the (Barclays) site, PIN entry is accepted and all is well.
However when we moved to _024, the above goes through up until the PIN entry, the onscreen PIN entry comes through, can enter the PIN, at which point the client errors and will not authenticate.
As stated, if we leave EVERYTHING as it and just roll back the temrinal to 8.6_019 (even the same Citrix session), it then works perfectly.
Has anyone come across this? We are Using WMS 1.3.0 40983 (non-PRO) on private Cloud. The terminals are 3040’s with current BIOS level.

July 30, 2019 at 3:14 pm #50459Just downloaded the hotfix _027 and applied to a test terminal, same issue. But as soon as I roll back to _019, works perfectly again.
October 4, 2019 at 2:44 pm #50899Just adding some more weight to this. Rolled out 027 and users soon reported issues with the card readers no longer working.
Rolled back to 019 and they are working again.

October 4, 2019 at 3:06 pm #50901I am mid packaging the latest Gemalto Client 6.6 IS to roll out to our Citrix farms to see if the latest release works, but I really suspect it won’t.
Unfortunately in our enviroment different teams manage softwares, Citrix Enviroments, Vendors (Dell) getting everyone together to log a support call with Dell can be difficult….
At the moment I am stuck on 019 as well which isn’t ideal…
October 4, 2019 at 3:14 pm #50902Feel your pain Doug, really do. Thankfully only a handful of my users need to use it so I’ve just created a new device group for them, moved the terminals into it, and set the app policy and firmware update to roll back to our previous release.
