Teams Optimization with latest ThinOS 9.1 & VMware Horizon Package

    Just curious if someone managed to run Teams in Optimized mode together with:
    – ThinOS 9.1.3129
    – VMware Horizon 2103.8.2.0.17742757.10
    – Dell Wyse 3040 & 5470

    Teams activation has been made with the following Registry Key:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\VMware, Inc.\VMware WebRTCRedir]
    “teamsEnabled”=dword:00000001

    By the way, the same Desktop is running Teams in optimized mode when using the Windows Horizon Client 2103.
    Looks like the Wyse Horizon Client is limited …

    Is Teams optimization even supported with this package? My understanding was that Teams optimization was only supported for Windows and macOS.

    With the latest release, Teams is now supported …
    (at least it tells now optimized)

    – ThinOS 9.1.4234
    – VMware Horizon 2106.8.3.0.18251983.5
    – Dell Wyse 3040 & 5470

    Teams Optimization is listed as a “Horizon Blast update” under the ThinOS 9.1.4234 package details. Does that mean it only works with Blast? Or will it work with PCoIP as well?

    Is Teams optimization with Horizon supported on the 3040?

    Dell Wyse ThinOS Version 9.1.4234 Operating System Release Notes page 25 has a blurb saying This feature is not supported on Wyse 3040 Thin Client.. Not sure what feature they are referring to.
