    Hi,

I just implemented a WMS 1.4 server and have successfully registered and configured a 5010 thin client.  We have had no type of central management for our thin clients previously.

Now I am trying to register other models (T10,T50,C10LE) currently used in our environment and all I’m coming up with is the (error=-7546) when trying to contact my WMS server on the T10 and C10LE models, both are running 8.0_505 and 8.0_210 respectively.  We did not setup to use certificates due to the fact that it is an on premise deployment.  My understanding is just to enter the WMS address into the WDM server field and reboot, correct? Why did the 5010 register without issue but not these other models?

    Thanks in advance!

You need a minimum firmware level of 8.4_x for WMS usage.

Thank you for the reply.  Is it possible to upgrade through the USB tool?  It keeps asking for a .rsp file, but I haven’t been able to find those in the images I’ve downloaded.  Or do I need to set up something else to get the firmware up to date?

Check the First Steps PDF in my Downloads.
You will need a Fileserver based on ftp or http.

Thank you again.  I was able to get the T10 updated to the latest firmware 8.6_027 and everything seems to be fine with WMS.

For the C10LE, is there an image file hosted here that is 8.4+ that I’m not seeing?  I’ve got it to 8.0_512 and am ready to get to 8.4+ so  I can register with WMS.
