    Hi there, we still use some D50D (5010) Clients on the lastest version of SUSE which is 11.3.110

    My Questions are:

    1. Is it possible to convert the Clients to ThinOS? How?
    2. Is it possible to convert the Clients to Thin Linux? How?
    3. Can they be connected to an OnPrem WMS 1.4 ?
    4. How do I update WDA to 2.0.13-00.1 (Ours are on 2.0.3-00.1, which seem to fail at registration)

    We recently installed a new, separate WMS1.4 and want to switch alle Clients from old Server to the new one – DHCP Options (160-199) has been updated. The File Server location on the clients were changed automatically, but the CCM/WMS registration stays on the old Server value until I manually change settings on each client.

    4. How can I provide the new Server with wlx.ini ??

    Thank You so much for your effort!

    Greetings

    There are no conversion kits available for any OS conversion.

    wlx.ini parameter would be

    CCMEnable=yes \
    CCMServer=https://your_server.company.com:443 \
    GroupRegistrationKey=linx-01012005 \
    MQTTServer=your_server.company.com:1883

    All,

    we are not talking about what’s technically possible.
    This is a licensing issue. ThinOS is not royalty free. You are not allowed to convert any OS without a valid license

    Ok, thanks for clarification – I wasn’t sure about that fact, since its no longer possible to buy ThinOS maintenance/support separately…I tought it been made free to use as long as you buy the hardware…. Anyhow, D50D ran out of hardware support (EOL 2017) we will buy new 5070 thinOS now 🙂
