    Hi,

    I am doing some testing around the SessionConfig=ICA OnDesktop=Desktops string

    and am wondering if there is a way for AutoConnect to not kick in if the user has more than one desktop available?

    Cheers,

    G

    Have you defined autoconnect settings?
    Typically the in-build autoconnect only happens when a user has only one session assigned.

    Hi CG,

    Yes we have the most common desktops listed in the autoconnect, issue is if a user has more than one, they both launch, so wondering if thee is a way to prevent autoconnect if there are more than one desktop assigned?

    Cheers

    As already stated above, ThinOS typically only autostart a session, if the user has only one session.
    You can fully disable this behaviour by using
    SessionConfig=ALL AutoConnect=no
    However, this will also break the autostart of a single session.

    Thanks CG,

    So I need to hide all the icons on the storefront homescreen to prevent users trying to launch something prior to the auto connect starting the desktop

    what is the best way?

    Via Storefront. Only assign one desktop/app to the user.

    that’s not really practical as we use xen app for publishing apps to users, so my only option is to hide them from view on  the storefront homepage

    DisableSFInit=yes seems to hide apps but leaves the desktops, will probably be the best approach
