5010 platform running 8.0_512 (although I’ve tried other platforms and WTOS versions with the same result).
We log into our domain and enumerate applications from a Storefront Store. It takes between 18-25 seconds before the thin device displays the applications.
I’ve tried adding/removing sites/farms from the Store, tried other stores, etc. …. consistently slow to get in.
If I open up Receiver or go to the web page for the same storefront store, it only takes 2-4 seconds for all apps to appear.
Anybody else have a similar problem?

September 16, 2016 at 9:03 pm #43240Try
PnliteServer=https://XXX.dteco.com/Citrix/StoreTD/PNAgent/config.xml Storefront=no ReconnectAtLogon=0 AutoConnectList=”No” TimeOut=5CG
September 19, 2016 at 1:27 pm #43243Thanks for the quick reply.
Added the timeout with no love. Same thing.
It appears to bounce past the domain authentication within a couple seconds. Add extra farms/sites to the Storefront server seems to add a couple seconds each.
Almost feels like there is like a 15 second penalty involved during the logon.
September 21, 2016 at 9:15 am #43246HAve you tried using the NetBIOS domain name instead of the FQDN?
CG
September 21, 2016 at 2:41 pm #43250Thanks again for the reply. I started with the NETBIOS name and switched to FQDN. Didn’t seem to make a difference.
And it doesn’t seem related to actual domain authentication, it seems related to app enumeration from Storefront.
September 21, 2016 at 5:32 pm #43252You really put Timeout=5 in the same line as the Pnliteserver parameter?
CG
September 21, 2016 at 5:34 pm #43253I stretched notepad out to both monitors to make sure but here’s the cut/paste:
PnliteServer=https://xxx.dteco.com/Citrix/TDStore/PNAgent/config.xml Storefront=no ReconnectAtLogon=0 AutoConnectList="No" DefaultSettings=XenDesktop Timeout=5
September 21, 2016 at 5:42 pm #43254Try removing the defaultsettings parameter.

September 23, 2016 at 6:57 pm #43262I think I have it –
I was VNC’ing into a thin device to test it.
I got out of my chair and did it locally and it took maybe 5 or 6 seconds … ?
Don’t think it is a display issue but going through VNC was generating some sort of artificial delay.
Thanks for the repsonses!
