Hello,
I have been given several Wyse 3040’s that have ThinOS installed on them.
The requirement is that the ThinClients open a browser and a specific web page on startup – nothing more.
Unfortunately I can’t find any settings for this. How do I proceed correctly on this?
What do I have to set?
If this is only possible under ThinLinux: How do I switch? How do I install a new operating system on the clients?
Many greetings
ThinOS does not support a local browser. This OS is currently only for accessing a virtual environment like MS, Citrix, or VMware.
If you need a browser then you have to move to a different OS.
You can install any Linux on the hardware. However, you do not have to option to manage the device with WMS anymore.
