System info is showing a build of 6.0 Wyse WFR2 (Build 656)
I’ve downloaded and installed the wireless add-on from wyse’s site.
When I plug the device in, I get the following box: “Unidentified USB Device” Asking me to type in the driver name.No matter what I type in I either get an “error” or it just flickers then goes right back to the same screen.
Under Network, in Control panel, it shows me 3 options. Built in, NE2000 Compatible and VNT VT6656 Wireless LAN. So it appears that I installed it correctly, however it doesn’t work and I have no idea where to go from here.
Any and all help is appreciated.
ThanksOctober 29, 2009 at 9:37 am #16832Which wireless adapter are you using?

November 2, 2009 at 3:27 pm #16859Another issue is that if I boot up the device with the USB wireless in, the keyboard and mouse are non responsive.
I have to boot the device without the wireless attached to get the keyboard and mouse to work, then when I put the wireless device in, after boot, is when I get the pop-up for Unidentified USB device.
In the driver name field i type VNUWLC5 or VNUWLC5.DLL and the pop-up disappears for 1-3 seconds, then re-appears. Never gives the “error installing” pop-up.
This is the first wyse terminal I’m trying to use wirelessly and well, I’m completely stumped.
November 2, 2009 at 4:33 pm #16863As soon as you get a message “unidentified device” you are lost. You can enter what you want but will not have success.
You are missing the correct addon.
I have uploaded the CE 6 addon for VIA wireless to the Download section.
Give it a try.CG
