    Hi everyone,

I’ve a strange problem. I have 2 V10L terminals and both have RDP configured with the option to mount local flash drives inside the RDP session. Unfortunately that doesn’t work at all. Is that maybe a known problem or do you have any hint for me what I can look for or try?

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards,
    Mana

What drives do you want to mount? What filesystem they are formatted with (NTFS is not supported)?

    Hi CG,

    Version is 6.4.0_06.

I tried attaching the usb flash drive 2 days ago and now they’re working. Don’t know why.

What’s not working now is attaching a USB diskette drive and a CD-ROM drive. Is that supported anyway?
Can’t find anything in the manuals.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,
    Mana

USB CD-Roms are supported from firmware 6.50 and some CD-roms are working very well (check out the forum for more info).

What is the system log saying when you plug in the usb floppy ? device registered of something else.

Neither USB floppies nor USB CD-ROMs are supported with you firmware.
As aLiE stated absolut correctly, USB CD-ROMs are supported with 6.5 code. Floppies aren’t.

    Hi aLiE and ConfGen,

    thank you for your replies.

Then I’ll have to update the firmware of the devices.

Is there a simple way to update the firmware? As I’ve seen in the FAQ section I have to configure clients for central config and setup an FTP server. Is there a way to update the firmware without a central config?

    Regards Mana

    Hmmm,
    ok.

Is there a step-by-step guide how to set those things up, i.e. what I’ll have to do to setup the client and the server?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,
    Mana
