I am hoping to find a way to control the auto-connect option. I had hoped that using WDM would be the answer, but it doesn’t seem to have that ability, or I can’t find it.

We have multiple VMware pools operating in the same subnet and I hoped to be able to group the R50L terminals by location and control which pool they logged into by the group they were in.

Any suggestions on how to control groups of terminals with or without WDM is appreciated.
I am currently flashing each terminal with a thumb drive now to change the default admin password and update the bios so if I could also control the auto-connect that way, I could live with that.

Have you tried using the wlx.ini config file centally on a ftp or http server?
You can use different folders for different groups.

Looking at the SP script verb in the scriptbuilder utility, it looks like I should be able to set the wlx.ini file.

What is the path on the wyse R50L to where the wlx.ini file should be?

It looks like I should be able to push out the a wlx.ini to the terminal with the script.

Next question, So can I push an entire new wlx.ini out and it will overwrite the existing one? Or do I have to push out the individual Keys and Values that I need changed in the existing wlx.ini file?

    Thanks
