Hi All
I am brand new to the WDM/Wyse model, but have now built our company’s WDM enterprise environment to support 400 devices within my company. In this I have pushed out the required settings/firmware etc using the wnos.ini file & scope options.
All 400 devices we have need their firmware updating from 8.0_037 to 8.4_009. I have managed to copy in the relevant DOVE_boot file (8.0_510, 8.1_031, 8.3_011 & 8.4_009) into the wnos folder each time, to update the 5 POC devices.
The question I have, is to see it’s possible to automate the process of pushing all 4 out? Or do I have to do it in 4 waves? I understand all 4 T10 firmware’s are in the DOVE_boot naming format (thus having this issue), but aren’t sure if other people have got around this constraint.
Many thanks in advance.
John.
You cannot do this is one step. However, once your clients are running 8.0_510 you go straight to 8.4_009. No need for intermediate steps.

Many Thanks for the info CG.
I have now successfully tested the 2 hop approach, & this will save me loads of time on the project. 🙂
Kind Regards
John.
