I’m new to managing WYSE 5010 devices running ThinOS 8.5. What users are running into is they login to the VDI broker and receive both VMware Horizon and Citrix Desktops, both are autolaunching. I would like to know what I need to set the wnos.ini to prevent the Citrix and VMware desktops from autolaunching. If this isn’t possible, I just need the Citrix desktops to stop autolaunching.

July 11, 2019 at 9:40 pm #50302So, my users are very needy. They want their VMware Horizon VMs to autolaunch but not their Citrix VDI. Below are the parameters in the wnos.ini file. What should I add or change to allow this behavior?

July 15, 2019 at 5:06 pm #50316Currently, all devices point to a wnos.ini that doesn’t have any configs for Citrix, only VMware Horizon. However, most of the users still have access to both. I found an old wnos.ini that they used to point to that had the Pnliteserver settings. Should I put those parameters in the new wnos.ini and try that?
July 16, 2019 at 12:06 pm #50324You should always have all the parameters needed by the users listed in your wnos.ini.
Do never rely on old settings stored on the clients. These will be gone after a factory reset.CG
