    Hi:

I have been scouring trying to find a configuration that does not user Microsoft DHCP to tell the thin clients where to go.
Our DHCP is handled by another group and they use Cisco routing equipment. Each network is setup on its own VLAN.

We are currently testing the V10L and other models to connect to our VDI broker. I am working to get the FTP server setup but I cannot get the V10L box to connect to it to pull down the wnos.ini file because I cant redirect the traffic. Since we do not run MS DHCP here, is there a FAQ/link/tutorial that someone can point me to that will allow teh device to pull over FTP/HTTP and possibly how to configure it?

    Thanks in advance!

DHCP is not needed to get the unit to pull a configuration file (wnos.ini). The DHCP server is only used to auto provide the IP address of the FTP server. You can also easily add this info manually in the network config – servers – file server.
But DHCP is much easier of course.
As far as I know nearly each DHCP server is able to provide additional option tag liek the FTP server for Wyse units.
