I’m having the most difficult time trying to update the OS version from 8.5_017 to anything above that in 8.6_x.
Using the CCM, ThinClients respond to all remote commands but never picks up any change of FW to upgrade the version. Most of the machines are on 3.0P and 3.0T. I can get one machine to update just fine but if I do another machine, on the same version and same BIOS, the OS doesn’t update.
I’ve tried 6 different versions and none will take on the majority of the machines. Looking through log dumps, I don’t see anything abnormal compared to the 1 machine that did work.
Any help is greatly appreciated since upgrading the version would solve some of the major bugs I currently have.
After an hour-long telephone call with Dell, figured out that the machines have device-level configurations that superseded group-level configurations.
