Hi! There is a critical BIOS update version 1.6.1 for OptiPlex 3000. The Download Page only lists an EXE or RCV file, both of which I can’t upload to the WMS.

How can we upgrade our OptiPlex 3000 BIOS to the latest version?

EXE file is to update with a USB key or in a Windows environment.
To update BIOS with WMS, you must have a “package” pkg file.
Usually, BIOS package are released with ThinOS package, that’s why the latest BIOS package available is the ThinOS 2211 version, which is the latest ThinOS available.
So you can update your BIOS with your EXE file and a USB key, or wait for the next ThinOS version (2302 if they are released every 3 months)
