Hello,
I’m having issue with a new wyse model 3040 and I can’t figure out what’s different. I’ve tried multiple terminals they seem to work fine with the same Desktop which leaves me to believe the newer terminal is the issue, also tried known working USB speakers and a headset. I’m not sure I’m missing parameter or something not being redirected differently.
April 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm #105179What is the detailed issue? No sound is a bit vague.
What backend?
What ThinOS version?
How does your config look like?
Give us as much information as possibleCG
April 22, 2021 at 10:39 pm #105196Go into settings of the ThinOS itself and check the playback device under peripherals and make sure both the right device is selected and it’s not muted.
Somehow, I’ve had users mute the audio on the ThinOS side of the thin client which caused no audio in their desktops. :shrug:
April 23, 2021 at 1:43 am #105197Sorry about lack of info I was thinking it was just missing parameter I didn’t know about.
I have actually had issue before with user muting the wyse and I’ve checked that already, the only audio option is ” SST AUDIO “.
backend = VMware
ThinOS = 8.6_303Heres our config:
