I have a few questions about these thin clients.

1.) Is it possible to boot into the bios? I have tried using the delete key on two separate clients with no avail.

2.) Can they run anything other than Windows CE, like maybe the Wyse OS I have been reading about?

Thanks for any help y’all can provide.

Don’t know right out of my head about the BIOS but I can look if I find an old unit to test.
3150 can be converted to so called 1150 WTOS based unit. Contact Wyse to buy a conversion kit.

    Hi,

the Wyse 3125 is a complete PC. You can enter the bios with F2 (i think).
    The passowrd is fireport.
I’m running Debian Linux (Lenny) on it. Installed via PXE, stored on a usb drive.

You have to press “Del” directly at the beginning but you have to use a Wyse keyboard.

Evil is nearly right with the password. It is “Fireport” (case-sensitive).

The 3150 has a true bios the 3125 does not.
