Hi,
We have a single domain that has quite a few other additional domain suffixes added as we are a hosting provider. Our customers login to their RDS service via RDWEB using their unique email address via the user logon name @ email address attribute this then saves them having to remember their unique windows user logon name (pre-Windows 2000), this all works fine when using Windows PC’s logging in via rdweb. The problem i have come across today is a user using a Wyse device via NTLM will have to enter their user logon name (pre-Windows 2000) as when entering their username in an email address form they are presented with a warning box stating “SMB: Empty or blank domain not allowed”, although after confirming the message it proceeds to login it’s not going to work in production. Has anybody come across this scenario before?
Which firmware version are you using?

Hi,
I also have the same problem using WTOS 8.4_110. I really need users to be able to enter their UPN and proceed without any warnings. Currently a warning pops up stating “SMB: Emtpy or blank domain not allowed” once the users presses OK it proceeds. Anybody know the fix for this?
You should contact Dell Support (TechDirect) and ask them to let this being fixed/enhanced.

What type of support agreement would this be covered under? I have recently purchased the Wyse but that would have just come with hardware warranty?
No agreement needed. This type of support is free of charge.
