Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any experience of load balancing XenDesktop Desktop Controllers for use with Wyse thin OS? We currently have only one DDC which is a single point of failure for our staff who log onto their desktops from Wyse V10L. I’m guessing we could use Windows NLB and configure each thin client with the virtual IP? Is this a valid approach and does anyone have any experience of using this? Any advice much appreciated, thanks.
My customer is using Netscaler which works fine.

Thanks for reply CG. I was thinking, couldn’t I just build another XenDesktop contoller server and add its IP address in the PNLiteServer= parameter in wnos.ini? This way if the primary DDC failed, the Wyse client would try the new server IP. Does this sound like a valid method of providing some resilience? Thanks.
100%. But WTOS will not do a load balancing. Only failover.
