Hi,
Our certificates for our storefront servers expired; new certs have been uploaded to the servers so Citrix is accessible via URL in web browsers but our Wyse clients simply shows “Host ‘citrixurl.mycompany.com’ not found.” This has been working without issue for over a year but now no matter what I try, I continue to get that error. From the Wyse terminals, I can, of course, ping the servers by IP and hostname so the host is accessible but it doesn’t seem the Wyse can connect to it via the proper protocol (presumably SSL 443).
Does anyone have any experience with the “Host not found” message and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks.
What OS are you running on the 3040? What does the config look like?

Sorry for the delay but I wanted to follow up… the issue was the fact that when the cert expired, it was only replaced in the storefront servers and they forgot to replace it in the netscalers. I had wondered this, and tried to change the configuration to not use the public storefront virtual IP but instead try and connect directly to one of the servers URL from the wyse but this resulted in failure to login every time.
Should a similar situation arise; is there a way to bypass the netscalers and instead use the URL of one of the storefront servers directly?
Thank you.
As long as your SF servers are accessible directly then this is possible, yes.
