I have an entire school district running the V10L’s on the latest firmware.
I have a Win 7 image running just fine but is there a way to give Student users a quality (read easy, no challenges or the Teachers will flip) experience that will run modern browsers, productivity suites, redirected folders and play A/Video/youtube?
I guess otherwise I have many hundreds of these devices that will need to go up for sale or…

I run around 600 units, NEVER that many concurrently but that is how many deployed.
I just got a P25 from Dell to try out and I am pretty impressed so far… had to tell it where the connection server was due to older WYSE WDM software but BAM… smooth streaming A/V!!!
I am shooting for next years budget… haven’t sprung the whole thing on the CBO yet, fingers crossed

What kind of servers are you using? We use 2008 R2 with XenApp with Dell Wyse T10 terminals and have been very pleased. The P25 may more than you need.
April 20, 2015 at 6:23 pm #25487We are ESXi 5.1
View Horizon 5.3.2
V-Center 5.5Older DL 380 G5’s… no OS on the hosts.
I have brought in the Samsung, LG, Wyse P25 and the D10 and they all meet our needs. Now… it is all about the money.
We shall see… sure will have a good deal on V10L’s for anybody interested, new and used.
