We are using Wyse 5010 thin clients and have some users that want to use dual monitors.
The problem is that the screens that we use only have Displayport and VGA.
The 5010 only have 1 Displayport and 1 DVI.
Is there any way to use DVI (from the thin client) to Displayport (to the screen)?
Have someone verified a solution with adapters or cables that will work for this?
Technically possible but challenging.
Think of DVI as the least best digital output. Display Port or HDMI are superior.
To use a DVI to DP cable you would need an active cable which is quite expensive and not always working.
In opposite a DP to DVI cable is easy going.CG
