A few weeks ago I asked a question about how to monitor the dell wyze 3040 by zabbix.
My goal is to only have a status in ZABBIX if the equipment is disconnected from the network cabling. that is, just an UP or DOWN for me to monitor this in the graph.
We will not use wifi network on it.
Following the suggestion presented, I created a host on zabbix pointing the thinclient’s ip. I enabled SNMPV1, waited a few minutes and unfortunately did not bring any information. I also tried using the command snmpwalk -v2c -c public 192.168.14.130 but no information came. I was wondering if I need to do anything else, at least to get the information from zabbix if the device has connectivity with the network cable or not.
Here is an image for a better understanding of what I did in the ZABBIX configuration.
Thank you very much
How did you enable SNMP on the client?
