We’re meeting with Imprivata to get their SSO OneSign technology configured for ThinOS 9.1 clients (5470).  Has anybody had luck doing so?  And with a badge reader?  Any pitfalls?

Aside:  Imprivata was saying the ProveID Embedded (versus the web version) feature for ThinOS was still in their QA and was concerned Dell was showing it as a configurable option.

Make sure to add the ThinOS Imprivata Package to your systems.

The Imprivata package was already installed v7.1.  We updated it to v7.7.  We got word from Imprivata that despite the ProveID embedded not having gone through final QA with Dell (but still being visible as a production option in ThinOS), they were OK with us using it.  The big deal getting it all to work is licensing Imprivata for Thin Clients which requires a Virtual Desktop Access (VDA) license.  We didn’t know we needed that since we’ve used Imprivata OneSign on Windows for years and didn’t think about it.  We’re going to experiment with VDA lics soon.

Let us hear how your testing goes. I have several customers using it with great success.
