    Hello,
Our S10 (6.2_12) is getting error messages “ica: no such device” at regular intervals. It is appearing often when users are browsing.

At the server side (W2003R3, CTX4.5) we get the message: An error occurred when processing incoming CGP downstream data. The source of this error is the “reliability server”.

Anyone has had this error, and is there a solution ?

    Thanks in advance

    tom

No, this is definitely something you should report to Wyse. A good idea would be create trace file and send to them.
To create a trace file use the wnos.ini parameter “privilege=high enabletrace=yes”

Steps to test with debug build:

    1. create a directory ‘trace’ here: ftproot/wyse/wnos/trace
    2. make sure the ftp server has the right of READ and WRITE.
    3. boot up the WTOS device
    4. On WTOS device, right click desktop and select ‘Trace ActionCapture’ and reproduce issue
    5. Observe ‘trace.ica’ is created in /wnos/trace directory

In newer version of firmware you can also use a USB stick to write the trace file to which comes very handy sometimes.

    Hello,

I already tried to make a trace, but it did not succeed: i did not get the error while tracing.
When I disable session reliability, the message changes to “connection reset by peer” and this trace has been send to wyse, but with no results yet.

    Hi,

we are experiencing the same problem on V10Ls running WTOS 6.2.0_08 connecting to PS4.5 on Win2003.

Did you end up finding a solution?

    Filip
