Hi,
I’m currently going through a proof of concept utilising the Wyse 3030 connecting to a Citrix published app. All going extremely well so far apart from one small issue.
On some of our clients there will be no keyboard or mouse movements used and therefore after 90 minutes the published app closes. We have an established Citrix environment and current understanding is that this cannot be changed. This is currently being investigated further.
I understand that CONNECT=ICA \ does not work with XENAPP 7+ and therefore the setting within the wnos.ini KeepAlive can no longer be used. Current error showing is ‘Name resolution failed’ when trying to connect.
Is there another way of keeping the published app open? I’m currently connecting through to Citrix OK and launching the app automatically using AutoConnectList.
Your thoughts and help would be much appreciated.
No, there is no equivalent.
You can try to open a request with Dell to get the KeepAlive as a global parameter.CG
