I can’t install WDM : can’t connect to the database

    Hi,
    i’m from France, so excuse my english 🙄

    I wanted to test WDM (latest version 4.7.2) because my society bought wyse v30l.

    i have a virtual machine on a server 2003.

    First, i installed sql server 2005 and management studio.

    And i configure it like this :

    And this is what it show me

    What can i do ?

    Where did you get the database from? Normaly WDM is installing the database for you. It iwill also create the DB user rapport.
    So, if you haven’t migrated the DB from somewhere else, you should delete the rapport user in the DB and the DB itself. Then reinstall WDM and select that the DB hasn’t installed.

    I know that wdm will install it, but it don’t work.

    So i extract wdm database from his folder !

    I think wdm installer and sql server don’t communicate.

    i Don’t found solution this day, and it’s the week end, i will be back monday !

    Have you enabled mixed mode authentication in SQL?
