    Hi there,
I did a search and read most of the topics but I couldnt find the answer to my question.
Please correct if I am wrong as I am about to purchase one for my little project

I know WT9450XE can work at 133 7xx mhz cpu speed
It runs xp embedded sp2 boots from rom , runs on ram?

~~is there any ide interface on board to support 2.5″ hdd?
~~Does xpe recognise external usb hdds?
~~Is it possible to install large applications on to this external usb hdd.
~~Let say if the usb hdd drive letter is D: during the setup of the application is it possible to install the application in to d: and run it that way as long as d; drive is attached?

~~Once the wyse setup etc . does it need to be connected to network or can it run(boot) locall and run stand alone?

    ~~LVDS support?

    Many thanks

Hi and welcome in the world of Wyse clients 😉

Each Wyse Thin Client has a flash drive included and loads the OS from that flash into RAM and runs it from there.
The 9450 has a IDE interface on board and ou can easily connect a 2,5″ HDD. The 9450 has even space to build the HDD in the box. Therefore the next question is obsolete (yes it recognizes HDDs).
The HDD will be displayed as a standard drive and you can install your programs there. Of course USB HDDs will work the same.
The unit does not need network connection as long as you have the needed applications on your flash or HDD.

What exactly do you want to know about LVDS? SATA, Firewire, etc.??

Thank you so much for your answer,

I have a lvds lcd panel with usb touchscreen and controller, I am hoping to build a little box ( mbile enough) prototype so I can demonstrate my idea,

look slike this is the little device I need. Even if there is no lvds out on the wyse board, i guess I can always go for the vga to lvds converter (controller board) and feed the tft from that board,

    Many regards
