    I could solve it, luckily.

It wasn’t working with Firefox on my PC so I tried the old Internet Explorer on the WMS Server itself.

    And this was working! πŸ™‚

    Hy,

In wms my dell wyse 3040 are listed as device type wtos or device type thinos.

    Whats the difference betwen both?

Cause m’y policy don’t apply to the wtos one

    Any Idea ?

    Regards

This could not be the reason.
ThinOS means ThinOS without, and WTOS means ThinOS with PCoIP.
Does the whole policy not apply or parts of it?

    The whole policy,

I’ve set a first thinos pol for upgrade firmware 8.6 to 9.1

and a second thinos 9.x pol for upgrade fw 9.1 to 9.1.2 and some other package like horizon, and set my default vdi broker.

All works fine excepte with wtos wyse

And those WTOS devices did not grab the 8.x nor the 9.x policy?

With Regards to Firmware, in one of your other posts you had mentioned there was an 8.4 something for the R10L clients. I Can’t seem to locate it in your download section. Could you possible point me in the right direction please?

    Thank you !

    upgrading from 8.0, 8.2 to 8.6_710

will make the Thin Client internal speakers sound very very very LOW. Even if you max the volume on the thin client and inside Citrix VDI Windows and the Application use, it’s still very very very LOW.

but using the recovery usb 3.4 and the merlin image 8.2_015 can restore the sound back to normal.

Is there an hack to get the volume LOUD or very loud ???

I tried to upgrade with usb key with no sucess.

    Thanks for your help,

Sounds like you are using a PCoIP firmware along with a Non-PCOIP unit, or vice versa.

The USB too is located at: https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER06669859M/1/Dell_Wyse_USB_Imaging_Tool_v3.4.0.exe

Keep in mind to limit the USB size to 32GB.

Prepare the key first for image pull, remove the USB key and restart the Application.

Download the Merlin image at: https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER07208776M/1/OS_Merlin_v8.6_710_WTOS_3040_EN.zip

Extract the Zip file, then in the USB tool select Push Image, click on the plus sign and brown to the fold just extracted and select the .RSP file. Then click update the USB key with the image.

when booting the device, make sure to first set the device to support USB boot.
