Hi.
I have recently migrated WDM server (Workgroup) from 4.9 to 5.5.1 and have noticed that none of the clients are now connecting to it.
We are running WTOS T10s and C10LEs.
The error on our WYSE boxes is:
10:31:21 Contacting WDM server ..
10:31:24 SSL: error ERR_TCP_CONNECT_ERROR!
10:31:24 SSL: unable to setup connection, (err=-5914)
so i’m guessing that with the upgrade they have changed the default port to SSL.
How do I change the config so it uses port 80.
We have the following DHCP scope options setup:
161 WYSE FTP server
184 WYSE FTP Username
185 WYSE FTP password
186 WYSE WDM
194 WYSE WDM FQDN
What’s the best/easiest/quickiest way of changing it?
DHCP? What’s the option name
Does anything else needs to be changed on the WDM server?
Thanks
Nevermind – found the answer –
DHCP option 192 WDM server port
Which firmware are you running on the clients?
Up to 8.2 ThinOS will always do a fall back from https to http.
This has changed with 8.3.
