    Hello everyone,

We manage mainly Dell Wyse 3040 with thinOS via our Wyse Management Suite. There is a box option which enable users to reset to factory default when they switch off the thin client. I know that you can hide that option via a wnos.file with the option “hide PPP” if I am correct.

Since we manage clients via our WMS, I want to know if it is possible to hide that option via the WMS. I have searched through the options but haven’t found any.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    James

I have forgotten to add that WMS is on 2.1 version.

You just have to set the Privilege level to anything other than “high”

    Hello,

Thank you for your answer. However it does not work.

I have set the privilege level to none. I am not able to enter in any configuration menu.

But when I click on the shutdown button, I am still able to check the box that reset the thin client to factory default.

    Regards,

    James
